Driven solely by composition and contrast. The original impulse, the first sketch, is honored and cut from metal. The first contrast appears; a free form, carved from a rigid medium. Open spaces, each create their own composition. Sharp angles alternate with flowing structures. Hard and soft, straight and curved. A play of opposites, balance found by not seeking it.
